Geriatric Care:
Dogs and cats over 7 and 8 years of age are considered senior pets. As such, they require more preventative diagnostics to ensure no underlying disease processes are present. Routine physical exams are recommended every six months along with yearly diagnostic testing.

Diagnostic & Laboratory Services:
Our hospital is equipped to provide full, in-house diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. We have the capability to run Complete Blood Counts (CBC), Full Serum Chemistries (Liver, Kidney, Blood Sugar and Electrolyte levels), Blood Parasite Screening (Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis, and Heartworm disease) Parvoviral Enteritis Testing (Parvo), Fecal Parasite Examinations (Intestinal Worms), and Full Urinalysis. This means that you receive the results of the tests in a more timely manner. In addition to in-house testing, we have access to numerous outside laboratories that allow us to run diagnostic panels such as Pancreatic Enzyme Levels to Adrenal Function panels, as well as canine and feline vaccine titers, and histopathology.

We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. We do NOT rely on one stock anesthetic protocol, but tailor our anesthesia to each and every patient as the situation mandates. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. We closely monitor heart rate and rhythm, respiratory rate and rhythm, blood oxygenation, core body temperature, blood pressures, and in most cases end-tidal CO2.

Surgical Services:
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We have the capability to perform Soft-Tissue as well as Orthopedic surgery. We have an extensive array of surgical instrumentation for soft tissue as well as most orthopedic procedures. We have the ability to monitor your pet, during surgery and while hospitalized, for everything from temperature to blood pressure to oxygen levels. We can also do this through blue tooth technology and are able to monitor several patients at one time.

We have in-house ultrasound equipment to complement our other diagnostic tools. Ultrasound is a non-invasive and very informative tool for viewing abdominal organs and for assisting with biopsy procedures.

Radiology Services:
Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high quality digital radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders

We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

We have a dental-only suite that was added in 2020. It is located in an isolated area with dedicated anesthetic monitoring equipment to ensure the safety of all patients in the hospital. It is stocked with all the necessary dental equipment to do most any dental procedure. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.

Internal Medicine Consults:
Occasionally we find a case that is in need of diagnostic services that we are unable to offer. In that situation, we will always present to you the alternatives for referral. We work closely with several specialty practices that offer a wide array of specialty veterinarians and the ability to perform procedures such as MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) or CAT Scan (Computed Tomography)

We offer microchip identification through Avid. The latest innovations allow you to have 24-7 access to your pets recovery program throughout the USA! This is a non-painful, yet permanent form of identification.

We provide a fantastic cat only boarding area as a service to our clients. As space is limited, reservations are required. For the safety of all the pets in our care we require FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations to be current. Pets requiring any additional care including but not limited to defleaing and deworming will also be done at your cost for the safety of the other pets in the facility. Pets must be dropped off and picked up during normal business hours.
We no longer offer dog boarding but can recommend local dog boarding facilities if requested.

We have a grooming (bathing) service available for our clients that includes baths, flea dips, comb outs and minor mat removal for dogs and cats. We require vaccinations to be current for grooming appointments. Your pet will most likely be here the majority of the day to get them dry and brushed out.
